    Project Narrative

The HIV and AIDS pandemic continues to impact heavily on the people of Zimbabwe. This project provides for those affected by HIV and AIDS in rural Gokwe, providing on-going care by trained local volunteers as well as reducing the rate of infection through education, testing and encouraging safe practices. Orphaned and vulnerable children and their carers, are given access to food, shelter, education and safe healthy social interaction.

    How will your contribution help?

Your investment in this project places aid in a critically strategic region of Zimbabwe which suffers from few resources which can be used to combat HIV infection. But your investment also has a long term view as well, this operation aiming to educate the community on HIV transmission as well as on care for those who have contracted the disease.

    Current Project Focus

To provide ongoing care to those impacted by HIV and AIDS in the Gokwe region by trained volunteers
