    Project Narrative

    In Bangladesh there are approximately 500,000 children living on the streets due to poverty or abuse. Many girls who live on the street are sexually exploited. This project in the city of Dhaka provides a safe haven for girls and young women who have been living on the streets. It provides a day and night shelter as well as training in life skills and character development, counselling and opportunities for education.
